Emerald Lutkin
Dance Teacher

Emerald is the teacher for Hitchin classes and also Disco Duck classes. At weekends Emerald is also a Dance-Beat party instructor.

Emerald started her dance journey with Dance-Beat when she was younger and took part in many shows and competitions. Emerald then trained professionally in musical theatre at Stella Mann College of performing arts. Immediately after her graduation Emerald landed a part in the first UK production of High School Musical playing Kelsie.

Following this Emerald went on to work as a dancer at Disneyland Paris appearing in parades, many shows and TV appearances. Disney on ice was a highlight of Emeralds career after training very hard to learn how to dance on ice!!!!

On her return to England Emerald taught street for Dance-Beat before travelling the world volunteering and teaching dance in many countries including India, Nepal and Australia.

Finally she returned to England and back to her roots at Dance-Beat. Emerald has enjoyed being part of organising shows and summer workshops for the school. Alongside Dance-Beat, Emerald continues to work for Disney events, is the dance teacher for Fusion childcare, has a special needs dance troupe and teaches Disco Duck!

After many years of professional dancing and performing Emerald feels very privileged to pass on her knowledge to the pupils of Dance-Beat.
